Mihir Desai is Director at HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd., Asia’s largest healthcare management and hospital design consultancy, specializing in hospital and medical campus design across India, Africa, and the Middle East. With expertise in healthcare mapping, medical planning, and pandemic infrastructure, he led master-planning of COVID-19 hospitals for Vedanta and Ambuja Neotia. His projects include IIT Kanpur, Azim Premji University, and Geetanjali Medical College Jaipur. An M.Sc. graduate from the Technical University of Munich and visiting scholar in Vienna and Stockholm, Mihir has won multiple awards, including first prize at the European Cartographic Conference and the Nippon Asia Young Designer Award. His designs prioritize clinical efficiency, patient-doctor centricity, and sustainability.
